CANE GARDEN BAY, Tortola, VI- Public and private schools across the Territory engaged in activities aimed at encouraging students to develop a love for reading when the Territory observed Reading is Fun Week 2024 from October 7 to 11, 2024.

Premier and Minister of Finance Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) joined in the celebration of Reading is Fun Week 2024.

One of the schools the Premier visited to engage in Reading is Fun Week activities was Ivan Dawson Primary School in the 2nd District.

The Premier used the opportunity to also encourage the students and acknowledge the hard work of the teachers.

Reading is Fun Week was observed under the theme, “Reading Transforms You”.

Second District Representative Honourable Melvin M. Turnbull was also in attendance.
