ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI—Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) has extended warm New Year's wishes to the people of the Territory, urging collective action to build a sustainable and prosperous future.

"As the sun rises on this new year, 2025, my government and I extend heartfelt wishes for a joyful and prosperous New Year to each and every one of you," the Premier said, reflecting on the resilience and unity displayed by the territory over the past year.

In a New Year's eve public address, Premier Wheatley recounted that, "we have faced challenges with unwavering resilience and celebrated victories with collective pride."

As such, he reiterated optimism in the enduring strength of the Virgin Islands community telling the citizenry, “... strength lies in our unity, and together we can achieve remarkable things; This year, I call upon all of us, each and every one, to join hands in a renewed commitment to building a sustainable and prosperous nation.”

Key areas of focus in 2025

Dr Wheatley used his address to also briefly touch on key areas for focus in 2025, including environmental preservation, support for local businesses, and investment in community well-being.

"Let us walk together to preserve our beautiful environment, support local businesses, and invest in the wellbeing of our communities; Every small, positive action makes a significant difference in our collective future."

According to Dr Wheatley, "by extending a helping hand to those in need and supporting one another, we strengthen the bonds that hold our community together and make our country stronger."

With this in mind, Premier Wheatley in a clarion call to action said,  “...as we embark on this journey through 2025, may we find inspiration in the promise of new beginnings and the power of our shared vision; Together, let’s create a future that reflects our highest aspirations and values; With hope and unity, let us make 2025 a year of progress, sustainability, and shared success."

Hon. Premier, I want to commend you for your unwavering effort to advance the Virgin Islands to achieve political advancement. However, the government needs to focus its attention on the welfare of our children and young people.as well as the senior citizens of this country. These groups are the most vulnerable group in the country.

      @ Round Rock:

According to " Sense Alone" , a deceased Trinidadian man, our Hon. Premier Natalio Sajuande Wheatley should not have waited to hear this highly valued advice from you, it is printed in the Holy Scriptures from the beginning of Genesis to and the completion of Revelations.

Is he an Infedel (Anti-God mindset person) or what? Shhhhhh.

There is a saying that "talk is cheap, but money buy Land. Premier Natalio Sajuande Wheatley, it is now time to stop wishing our people prosperity while with holding promised raise of cash from them. Keep your scyco-political speech for yourself and exercise true accountibility as was promised many since February 19, 2019 when you were first elected to political leadership.

Note: The BVI is one of many UK'S Overseas Territory. We are not yet a "Nation" as was said by our Premier.
Our Premier really refers to the BVI as as still one of the UK'S Overseas Territory. He regularly say Virgin Islands, (VI) What unity is he talking about? Does he means to unite with him so that more of our money be waste on pleasurious frolicking? Oh no!, Not again.

“Premier Wheatley issues ‘call-to-action’ for 2025,” These are just nice sounding words. However, what is needed action; the action of words. What is the holistic , strategic, and tactical action plan for this call to action project? Words without a plan, action(s), resources allocation, etc is fools gold.

The Frig……here, I was on little sabbatical for the season but this ting about ‘ call to action’ brought out early. Rattler you are on point. Wah del plan? Who leading this project? The Premier is learned at least on paper and should know that statements are better received when supported by credible, concrete action plans, example, references, etc..Bamboozled….The Frig…out. Ah coming for the guava berry, black eye peas soup with some pigtail, guava tart, black cake. The Annointed Praise Fungi Band is off the chain.
