SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico- Premier and Minister of Finance Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) was among the large number of persons who attended the annual BVI Full Moon Party in Puerto Rico.

The event took place at VIVO Beach Club in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

Music was provided by the Virgin Islands' very own Lashing Dogs.

The BVI Full Moon Party was organised by the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board & Film Commission (BVITBFC) and VIVO Beach Club.

The party is inspired by the famous full moon parties that take place at Trellis Bay, Tortola and Jost van Dyke, and is a precursor to the Christmas in July where Puerto Ricans flood Virgin Gorda for a party weekend.

More details to follow.

Preaenrly the B.V.I facing humongous social, economical, and political, Spiritual, and criminal problems, the latest news is that our Premier was, if not still in Puerto Rico, has pleasurous "Full Moon" party frolic.

I too saw the "Full while here in Tortola.
Each month of every year one "Full Moon" appeared.

With basic needs of good spiking, especially food items, and 300 plus Volume 2 recommendations demands by the UK'S government. Hundreds of unsettled mind youth, and others problems that I am too ashamed to mention in this comment, our Premier find it pleasurous, and frolic free, in his mind, on our tax money, to, and joined in a "Full Moon" pagan worship spree.

No wonder why so many things in disorder, and so difficult to be remedied. When the head (especially political leaders) are confused, the other parts of the body greatly suffer loss.

Help is truly, and urgently needed, but we can't afford to trust the UK'S twisted-minded political leaders, either.

This makes no economical sense…Wouldn't it be better for our tourism to promote the BVI Full Moon parties in the BVI. Thus , boosting our local economy and not Puerto Rico!!

with that that line of thinking, wouldn't it be better to have the Puerto Rican Xmas in July in PUERTO RICO instead of Virgin Gorda? You small-minded people don't understand how to build rapport at all smh...

These full moon parties today are lame. Nothing compares to a Bomba Full Moon party. Those were legendary. These “parties” today are more myth than legend. But they do fit in the BVI alcohol based tourism model. Took Ft Laudersale decades to get the spring break crowd out, now BVI courting them.

I mean honestly, did he really have to attend? Was it that important for him to be there? Don’t know where but he will be flying out somewhere soon.

Then he fly's out again with our tax money or throws a next party while your rent, grocery bills, light bills etc increasing without any intervention. But hey at least we getting the roads worked on since last year.. I guess

Nobody ever asks or is ever concerned about how much the UK COI cost our Treasury for a witch hunt that bore not a single fruit, but every time our elected leader travels it's a problem
