Powerboat destroyed by fire in Frenchman's Cay

FRENCHMAN'S CAY, VI- A powerboat was destroyed by fire last evening, Thursday, January 9, 2025.

According to reports reaching our news centre, the fire was noticed around 7:00 PM.

Firefighters responded but the vessel with outboard engines was already engulfed in flames.

It is unclear to our news centre how the fire started.

The powerboat was on a trailer at the time of the fire.

There were no reports of injuries.

    Strange how these fast boats seem to be more of a fire hazard than anything else.

      Well they do bounce around hard loosening electrical wires and damaging the fuel tanks so mix two and boom
