THE SETTLEMENT, Anegada, VI- Following the seizure of a small aircraft and the discovery of a large amount of cocaine in it at Auguste George Airport on Anegada on August 19, 2023, police are said to be conducting raids on certain homes on Anegada as part of their investigations.

Reports reaching our news centre indicate that law enforcement officers are searching homes in especially The Settlement this morning, August 23, 2023.

Unconfirmed reports are that at least one person has been taken into custody.

Persons on the island have reported seeing “many police on island”.

    People please understand what the word investigation means. For one, it is not a popularidat contest. Hence during an investigation and base on the type of investigation like this present one, the lest the Media knows the better.
    This is not the investigation of a missing or lost child or person.

    Wasn't that the same plane from st croix that drop off the drugs and cash in water around Norman Island,last year when the boys from one mart and long bush get busted with us coast guard,bvi police are jokers,soon road town police station will be the next junk yard when you need parts for vehicle,some of these magistrate need to quit there jobs too,they are useless,during pandemic a dude had get hold for a high power rifles rap around a towel hiding in his closet his walking free the next week,how is that possible?the police need to do a raid on main street by the Spanish bar,they will be surprised what they will find hiding behind,new faces are surfacing while the old once fle to st Thomas,why isn't US cost gourd don't see when illegal immigrants going over but they always know about drugs and money,because they want the money back to the US.
