BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI- Police are said to be investigating reports of heavy gunfire heard in the wee hours of Monday, December 12, 2022.

According to reports, rapid gunfire was heard in the area just after 1:00 AM.

No injuries have been reported.

Our news centre was informed that police have been interviewing persons regarding the reports.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force has been pleading with the community for assistance in ridding the streets of illegal firearms.

More details will be provided as they come in.
