TRELLIS BAY, Beef Island, VI—Platinum BVI Services, the Fixed Based Operator (FBO) of American Airlines’ (AA) stationed at Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport on Beef Island, has secured the prestigious American Airlines Customer Cup for the fourth quarter of 2024.

The accolade recognises the entity's exceptional performance, customer service, and operational excellence, solidifying its position as a leader in the aviation service industry.

The award was presented at a modest ceremony attended by several high-profile figures, including Honourable Kye M. Rymer (R5), Minister for Communications and Works; Senior officials from the BVI Airports Authority; Representatives from the BVI Tourist Board and Film Commission; American Airlines’ dignitaries, among others.

Commitment to excellence

Platinum’s Patricia M. Romney and Marnie Romney, along with their dedicated team, were commended for their outstanding contributions.

    What happened to the saff who goes tru the struggle everyday getting cuss out because passengers can't fly because the plane overweight and workers have to stay back after hours to get them in hotels and don't receive no over time pay,because the policy doesn't allow staff to get over time.

    What a joke. Platinum have the worst customer service I have experienced from an airline...other than Intercaribbean
