PHOTO OF THE DAY: Hon Mark H. Vanterpool a lonely man?
He was across from the Road Town Seventh-Day Adventist Church adjacent to the Methodist Church gaveyard.
The race to the finish
Mr Vanterpool is seeking re-election for a third consecutive term with the Myron V. Walwyn led National Democratic Party 1 (NDP 1).
The Communications and Works Minister has three opponents, they are, Luce D. Hodge-Smith of the Virgin Islands Party (VIP), Dr Vincent G. Scatliffe of the Progressives United (PU) and Karl M. Scatliffe of the breakaway NDP 2 called the Progressive Virgin Islands Movement (PVIM).
As of today, many political pundits consider Mr Vanterpool the front runner, but he seems lonely while trying to make a phone call yesterday.
We trust that the graveyard next to where he was sitting is not a symbol of anything!
