‘PEP ticket to be revealed at the right time’ – Hon Christopher
He was among the panelists on PEP’s radio show aired last night February 23, 2015 on ZBVI 780 AM. The others were President of the party Natalio D. Wheatley aka Sowande Uhuru and party Public Relations Officer Lorie A. Rhymer. Mrs Julia Christopher hosted the show.
Hon Christopher was speaking in response to a caller who asked whether any of the persons on the panel would be contesting for the districts.
“You could tell me if anyone of the three of you intend to run for the party for the district in the upcoming elections,” the male caller asked, directing his question to Wheatley, Rhymer and host Christopher.
However in response to the question, Hon Christopher said, “The People’s Empowerment Party is intended to field 13 candidates for the 13 positions and we intend in a timely manner to reveal the names of the candidates contesting on our ticket.”
“I know a lot of persons in the public have been asking when we are going to [announce our candidates]. I think everything takes time. You may plan and you work towards your programme. We believe we are on the right track and at the right time we will say to the public who our candidates are and what districts they are contesting,” he said.
It is strongly believed that Virgin Gordian Faye J. Reese-Charles will be the PEP candidate to contest the seat in the Ninth District. According to this news site’s sources, Ms. Reese-Charles was settled on after a series of meetings with the PEP Executive. She is expected to make a formal announcement in May of this year.

But the public has not been informed about any changes. They want champagne results with backyard understanding of what they are messing up. Why do we have to have several "5-star" hotels when it is difficult to get that rating (or even fill them)? why can't we concentrate on infrastructure for the population before catering to cruise ships? The stronger the foundation and regulations, the more control we have and the more desirable BVI is considered. Disney is not a magic bullet. Quite the opposite. Many travelers stay away from anything that has to do with the amusement park.
