ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Remnant moisture associated with the passing of a tropical wave could trigger some temporary rain in the [British] Virgin Islands today, July 4, 2023.

This is according to the Department for Disaster Management (DDM).

Weather today: Partly cloudy with a 60 percent or moderate chance of few showers.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy with a 20 percent or a slight chance of some passing showers.

Winds: East 19 to 37 mph or 12 to 23 mph and gusts of 56 mph or 35 mph.

Seas 1.5 to 2.4 meters or 5 to 8 feet. A small ferry advisory goes into effect tonight for the Virgin Islands.

Sunset today 6:59 PM.

    Exactly what is "temporary" rain. Is this what we can expect from BVI Metrological Office ?
