restaurants in Tortola have been doing much better than the outer islands, this does nothing for the outer islands, the rule should be the same for incoming overnight tourists, you know the people who actually spend the money not just pay government fees. Don't get me wrong its a step in the right direction but yet again forgetting about the marine industry that sails the islands.

This should be the very last part of tourism to restart of course but we know who benefits.

Let’s get the higher spending overnights and yachts in. The dregs of the USA can wait for their one free onshore drinks and prepaid taxi excursion.

Unless the boat is adults only, you’re going to have plenty of kids, fresh out of US daycares carrying and transmitting the virus no?

Guys, please do not think that the season will be in full swing. We are talking about 1 or 2 ships here and there at best.

We all know that this is another gimmick, wait until May and you will hear another story.

If they are going to allow a ship to come in and open the island to,the passengers based on fact they have been vaccinated. Why won’t they do the same for bare boaters and crewed yachts????? Doesn’t make sense to me.

in virgin islands only when certain folks speak the powers to be listens: sit back and ask yourself who have the upper hand when cruise ships arrives in road town and virgin gorda yes some restaurants and taxi drivers gets the left overs: one company is building its own restaurant so off the cruise ship to that restaurant then on to their buses for island tours so let the games begin
