WINDY HILL, Tortola, VI- There are reports of an oil spill and multiple vehicular accidents on the Windy Hill public road.

The incidents have resulted in a temporary road closure from Windy Hill to Stoutt’s Lookout.

There have been reports of three vehicular accidents; however, there have been no reports of injuries.

Fire & Rescue called in

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) in a bulletin today, January 21, 2025, said Virgin Islands Fire and Rescue Services was contacted and “will rectify the situation as soon as possible.”

Motorists, especially tour operators, are advised to use alternate routes.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding as we work to restore normalcy,” the RVIPF stated.

    IF YOU ASK THE WIGGED ONE , HE WOULD TELL YOU ITS THE WHITE SLAVE MASTERS ,OR VINDY OR WALWYN , AND HE WOULD EMBELLISH SO MUCH , RVEN HE HIM WOULD BELIEVE IT , / BUT WE HAVE VTO FORGIVE HIM , HE HAS A MENTAL PROBLEM

    this was not the only place that there was an oil spill it started from hope hill and trailed all the way to windy hill and there were accidents hope hill as well and nothing was done over there i guess vehicles sliding down the hill bumping into each other and hitting the guard rail isn't high enough on the priority list. did someone need to die for the area to get some attention. government sickening.
