Is there immigration and customs there or is it open season on our borders because they are white?

Don't be racist. The "open season" is because they can afford it.

I think that is the point of the previous comments questioning this development...

The territory has several authorised ports of entry that are manned by customs and immigration agents, and as such, all arriving persons local or visitor are subject to screening and observing establised protocols. Slow? Yes. Inefficient? Often. Could be improved? Of course!

But here we have a class of the ultra-rich and their friends who have been afforded unprecedented leeway to travel in and out of the territory via what is essentially their own private airport. Manned by whom? Oil Nut Bay staff. Are they going to strictly enforce procedures, confisticate contraband or tell someone worth millions that they cannot do such and such? "No sir, I have my own salary and position to protect.. and I am paid pretty handsomely.", would be the likely response.

So exactly how and when did our government approve such an elitist proposal that gives 1st class privileges to this isolated enclave of spoiled billionaires who get whatever they want and seemingly shape government policies behind the scene? People have questions, and deserve answers. After all, we all pay taxes and have a stake in this country... there shouldn't be a set of rules for the uber-rich while the regular joe has to face the music everyday with no hope of improvement to his lot. Money isn't everything... respect matters more.

The problem is that the persons at our entry ports do not know how to welcome hogs, least of all visitors! They make everything unnecessarily difficult and painful. So yes, let ONB create a way to spare their guests that hassle. The kind of money they are paying to be here, they damn well deserve to not be treated like cattle.

Besides, our government will not create direct airlift to make it easier for people to come, so let the private resorts find a way. We need to wake up and smell the competition.

So if anyone have have enough money they can build one of these in the back yard and have both customs and immigration on site to make sure they aren’t flying in any contraband?

Let’s face it some these wealthy folk will need contraband but I guess their money is enough to make their own laws hmm?

This stinks really bad. I thought they would land at the air port and let customs and immigration do their job then fly off to oil nut bay.

It’s no wonder people say the youths getting arrested and blamed for all the drugs in the country are only pawns in rich people’s games.

Blacks are just as racist. I am biracial and the blacks are more racist towards me than the white side of my family. The black side of my family always have something stupid to say and think it is a joke. TELL ME IF YOU ARE CALLED A BLACK AND WHITE COOKIE OR A SWIRL ISIN’T that consider a racist?

Blacks have no power to rape, kill, steal, colonized, oppress or suspend constitutional rights. You need to stop whites have years in that business that’s why only them can be racist

heliport. No service or fueling to flying vehicles. Land and take off only in daylight. Also incoming passengers and cargo must stay aboard the flying vehicle until BVI entry authorities are on site and ready to clear in arriving passengers and cargo. Additionally all arrivals and departures digitally recorded.

Why does OIL NUT need its own helipad?? Whats wrong with the helicopter making a stop at the established ports of entry in our community? This is just going to be another thing that government is not going to be able to control, as ALL sorts of things can be easily snuck in.

Are the Customs and Immigration walking with dogs? North Sound is already awash with snow for the visitors and the imported staff that work 20 hour days 7 days a week keeping them happy. Now the guests can bring their own.

When you big you large. This should never have been approved. If it happens at the other ‘exclusive resorts’ it is also dead wrong.

We are once again slowly creating what Virgin Islanders fought so hard against in the days of Bates. Hint: Remember Wickhams Cay and Anegada? Picture here in another quarter century with this type of elitist treatment. Where would the Virgin Islanders be in the scheme of things?

Don’t say I didn’t warn you all. Barry say you will hear!
