Teenager Chad Fearon slotted in the other goal for Panthers FC.

According to Coach of Panthers, Stany Francis, “It was a game where we imposed our authority and controlled the game. We had several new players and fitness is something we have to work on, but what a standout performance from our returning striker, Nigel Sanderson, who scored five goals. Youngster Chad Fearon also had a wonderful performance, scoring one and having multiple assists. He has the potential to be one of the best and we are looking forward to the next challenge.”

Islanders & Old Madrid play Wednesday in second qualifer

On Wednesday evening, the other qualifier between Islanders FC and Old Madrid FC is scheduled for a 7:00 PM kick off on the field at East End/Long Look.

The winner will move on to face One Love FC on Sunday also at East End/Long Look at 6.30 PM followed by a clash between Wolues FC and Lion Heart FC from 8:30 PM.

The last eight action kicks off on Saturday, July 13, 2024, when VG United face the Rebels FC at 6.30 PM at East End/Long Look.
