Newly refurbished WE basketball court vandalised!

The facility had been damaged by the hurricanes of 2017 and was recently restored with a freshly painted court, new backboards, rims and nets and a bleacher.
"This was important because our young peole have alot of energy to burn and we must put in place these positive things that will keep them occupied and energised," Hon Fahie said during his First District Report on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at a packed Cappoons Bay Recreation Grounds.
"I must say; however, I am extremely, I am very disappointed that since we have refurbished the court in West End someone had idle time and instead of properly utilising the basketball court, they destroyed the two glass backboards and rims.
"My people that is not who we are and that is not what we do. We build communities, we don't destroy them."
Hon Fahie then pleaded with persons to discourage such behaviour.
'Don't kill dreams'
"If anyone knows who has done such a thing talk to them and tell them that the monies used to put these things in place is their own tax money and we must treat things with respect. Do not destroy for you are not spiting Andrew Alturo Fahie, rather you are killing the dreams of many people in this community who want to go to college, who want to go to the olympics, who want to go to the NBA or the WNBA.
"Don't kill their dreams. Help to make their dreams a reality."
Hon Fahie also encouraged persons engaging in such vandalism to emancipate themselves from their destructive mental slavery.
"This is not who we are as a people. We are an educated people."

And, sorry, but the comment about building communities is laughable in light of the discriminatory practices against outsiders.
You can't put NOTHING in these lil dumb Mudda &K@#$ neighborhoods that's for the the community IGNORANCE ah seh !
So those kids already have them programmed.
However they should be cameras that can see that basketball court from the police station.
