NDP Exec snubs Speaker; denies At-Large Candidacy
Virgin Islands News Online was reliably informed that a special meeting was held to select the party's At-Large slate and ratify District Candidates in Districts three, five and seven.
While Ms Moses-Scatliffe, was a Candidate nominated to contest for one of the four available At-Large slots on the NDP’s campaign ticket, the executive committee and voting members did not support her bid.
At the end of the evening Messrs, Trefor A. Grant and Henry O. Creque, along with Ms Sandy M. Underhill, were all elected by the party's executive members to serve on the NDP’s slate, as At Large Candidates
Voting members also ratified, Mr Aaron Parillon, to contest as its Candidate in District three, while Elvis J. Harrigan, will contest District Five and Mr Hipolito D. Penn has won the confidence of the NDP members to contest General Elections in the Seventh District.

If you think NdP have better candidates thumbs down
1. Ingrid was not needed because the New chairman is an At large candidate and will run again as an at large making 4 at large.
2. Creque had to move to at large, because the action man who said he was not running again, had a change of heart and is now running again in the 4th.
3. Minister Done Deal not resigning but not running with NDP so Penn whoever he is, is running in 7th.
This is clear, they using Parillon as a sham, they know he cannot win but just to have a full slate. Who knows if the one man party progressive United with himself, if fate should work in his favor again, he might jump and unite with whoever need him to form government?
Election 2019 is going to be historic. At the end of the day, VIP form govt, NDP past and current with PVIM forms opposition of 3 members. (Just my prediction)
