ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Sometime after 10:00 AM today, Saturday, January 25, 2025, a three car accident occurred in the Road Town area close to the Wickhams Cay 1 roundabout.
Two cars were severely damaged and parts of the vehicles could be seen scattered across the street in the immediate area.
The ambulance and police were called and it is our understanding that one person was taken to the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital for treatment.
'Truck couldn't stop'- Eyewitness
“A white truck couldn’t stop,” one eyewitness told a JTV Channel 55 reporter on the scene in a video posted to Facebook.
The cause of the accident is not immediately known at this time as police are still investigating.

Not for one second did they stop to think it was a medical emergency that resulted in the accident.
Not for one second did they think someone could have been hurt including them or a loved one.
Not for one second they did think it could have been them that had the medical emergency.

The individual had a seizure.
