This is made easier when leaders block Information from reaching the People in order to pump up themselves – At the same time, we are lucky to have the Internet and our own ability to read or, most of what we now know would still be hidden… Our Youth are guilty of their own willful ignorance by claiming to know more than their Elders and choosing to follow lying conspiracies or even reinventing the wheel.

Even then, all the conceit in the World is not enough to hurt or help others when they cannot help themselves… We have seen this in the rise and fall of America’s Trump and England’s Johnson… Their shared traits of lying, racism, anti-immigrant and white-privileged status appear to have given them firm grips on their Political Parties much to the detriment of the public – In this way, they felt invincible.

Nonetheless, despite all their devoted Followers and the acceptance of their Failures, it was their social mishandling of Covid-19 that eventually led to their downfall… Still, they try every trick to stay in power; promising Pardons without Power and Tax Cuts without Money… However, even Badness will come to an end and, while both are leaders of Conservative Parties, the processes of their termination still differ.

The USA has fixed Dates for ‘end of term’ Elections, whereas, UK accepts Snap Elections which occur at any point and time… Furthermore, the US ‘lame Duck’ transition period - before the handover of power – provides opportunities for mischief to be done by the loser, whereas, the immediate transfer of power in the British System, allows Civil Servants their own opportunities to manipulate incoming Politicians.

When is Direct Rule not Direct enough?

Clearly, the roots of our troubles not only spring from a love of Money but also a hunger for Power and practice of making and following the outdated laws and bad examples of others… More often than not, these have proven disastrous for those Countries and no more productive than the filling of Rivers by basketing waters from the Sea… Still, we spectate as they destroy our Human and Equal Rights.

They say it’s in our best interest and call it, “Making ‘us’ Great Again”, but what we see is the destruction of our People, Businesses and Means of Living – even as they promise Better Living Conditions… Eventually, we are starved to such desperation and as we lose the little we had, a crumb is as valuable as a loaf… We yearn for progress but remain fearful of things worsening following Fahie’s calamity.

As a proud People we protested against UK’s Direct Rule, where she would have been accountable and responsible for calling the Shots and paying the Bills - We instead claim to have won by having her call the Shots while we pay the Bills… Is there a more Direct Rule than this?... Based on this arrangement, what would be the sense in having Elections to represent People when we can’t represent ourselves?

Even now, we clamour for Independence without checking the costs and consequences, and we have added the distraction of a New Constitution, without asking why, at a time when the present one is threatened with suspension... One may argue that Independence would require a New Constitution, but they should also admit that Independence also requires the ability to support and sustain oneself.

Conversely, it should also be clear that, anything short of Independence would require a different approach in order to achieve different objectives… Furthermore, even if the present Constitution requires improvements, inclusions or corrections, won’t it be better if the Public is first made aware of these?... Additionally, aren’t these objectives better accomplished through targeted Amendments?

Wasn’t this the approach taken by the great America and, to date, her Amendments seem to be more popular than the original Charters of the Document?… It’s far easier to roll down than to climb up and, the price we pay for not becoming Puppets may seem high but, it is more likely to be counterproductive for us to break down the Castle simply to erect a Shack… We progress Tomorrow by surviving Today.

Is Silence really Golden or just Stolen Consent?

If silence gives consent, then the same problems in Departments, Ministries, Utilities, Traffic, Labour, Public Health, NHI, Hospital, Associations, Boards and everywhere seem to move from bad to worse and crisis to crisis… This keeps us under the hammer but too afraid to admit it… As Inflation reduces Incomes and increases Expenses, the existence of our Children and Territory is placed at direct risk.

This is more than simply believing in ‘better over worse, fairness over malice, sharing over greed, equality over slavery or good over evil… It is the efforts of our Ancestors that have taken us this far and, the aspirations of our Children, that can reach beyond our dreams… You claim, God worked 6 days and rested one while Satan took no days off, so, if we are to save ourselves, the time to speak and act is now.

We live in the same world so what I see is what you see… It’s no mystery and doing nothing is not difficult - We do so in our sleep… I am no braver than you – Perhaps more concerned and prepared to stand firm on things I say because in the complacency of silence the Efforts of our Forefathers would be erased and the Destinies of our Children, nullified by the Archangels and Messengers of Oppression.

Life will go on and there will always be Trumps, Johnsons, Fahies and whomever we deem as bad, and while they are judged by what they did as well as what they did not, only we, the People, can stop them from getting in positions of Power to fulfill their Agendas… Instead of finding it convenient to blame them, we should ask ourselves about our own participation in the real World – Exactly where do we fit?
