Monea is 1st VI artiste to receive Caribbean Music Awards nomination

This recognition, according to a press release, underscores Monéa's growing influence and impact on the contemporary Caribbean music scene.
History has also been made as Monéa is the first artiste from the Virgin Islands to be recognised by the annual event.
Versatility
This nomination, according to the press release, comes at an exciting time for Monéa, as she gears up for the release of her highly anticipated sophomore album, "Tropikana Vol. 2: Mood Swings," this summer.
Monéa's versatility as an artiste is underscored by her inclusion in the Caribbean R&B Artist of the Year category, where she stands alongside acclaimed Bajan singer Amanda Reifer, Jamaican vocalists Tosh Alexander D’yani, and her former collaborator Dexta Daps. This placement is a testament to the genre-bending nature of her music, with her signature sound, aptly coined "Tropikana" – a captivating fusion of dancehall and pop – continuing to attract and convert fans across the globe.
Voting is open
