Military exercise in VI?
The helicopter appeared to be flying low, taking photos and circling in a particular area in West End.
Our roving reporter called the BVI Airports Authority (BVIAA), who referred us to Diana D. Maduro who we were told is responsible for public relations.
She then referred us to a Coy Levons, the Director of Operations, who informed us that the control tower was advised that the operation of the military exercise must not be released to the public.
We were on hold for close to fifteen (15) minutes for the Director of Civil Aviation, Mr Denniston S. Fraser, but he never responded to our calls.
It is unclear who is doing the military exercise, whether it is the British or Americans. The objective of the exercise in the Virgin Islands jurisdiction is unclear.
We will update our readers if information becomes clear.

it's still Nazi. But you're supposed to 'not see', get it? "I know NOTHING!"
I believe it was a Lynx HMA.8 or similar model, that was recently retired by the British Navy. It buzzed around the Romney Park - Zion Hill - Freshwater Pond area this morning for 8 to 10 minutes. It was flying pretty low, had the door wide open and was pretty loud.
It did several circles in the area before flying off towards the east end of the island. If they were trying to keep this exercise quite, they sure didn't do a very good job of it! I can't imagine who was running this exercise. The British Navy paints their equipment gray and this machine was the typical U.S. army green. I didn't notice any markings on it, but I seriously doubt it is U.S. owned.
west end is already in the flight path to Beef Island with descending planes every hour and more.
It is getting worse. So much for quiet paradise.
You need to be dub wize also :-)
