TRELLIS BAY, Beef Island, VI- The British Virgin Islands Airports Authority (BVIAA) is notifying all taxi operators who intend to provide services at the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport that they are to apply for membership with the authorised Airport Taxi Association – Transportation Services (Virgin Islands) 2023 Ltd. (TSVI).

According to the BVIAA in a press release today, April 7, 2025, membership is mandatory and requires strict adherence to the Association’s Code of Conduct.

The TSVI, the BVIAA said, will serve as the sole administrative body for all membership-related matters.

Taxi operators seeking to operate at the airport are advised to contact the association directly for comprehensive details regarding the application process and membership requirements.

    they change it so you dont have to wait in a bus while they fill it up and then charge you a high taxi fee. Maybe they should put age limit on some of those broken down taxi that probably arent safe either

    Basically speaking, taxi operators, especially at Terence B. Lettsome's Airport,
    and of course the Road town Cruise Ship Dock are some of the B.V.I top tear greedy people, as are many other business owners among that group, in the B.V.I.
    It is well known, that money is the life blood, so to speak, of all businesses worldwide, but of all ports of entry in Tortola why is it beenallowed that taxi driver that operate at Terence B. Lettsome'sAirport can also taxi from
    from all other port of entry, buta aaother taxi drivers cannot be allowed to taxxqaioqqa1a qqat Terence B. Lettsome's Airport with first be joined to the government approved?

    Correction please: wwhy was it been allowed that taxi operators have the privilege to operate, at other ports of entry but in order for other taxi operators be allowed to operate at. Terence B. Lettsome's Airport, they must compulsory join the government's approved Taxi Association?

    Are taxi drivers who are members will be getting a monthly stipen allowance from the Airport authority from 31st May to 31st October to cope in the very slow period. Control ha a cost and a responsibility..
