Especially since the BVI don't really invest much on their athletes early careers it's only after they get big they ready to claim them
walk around wearing masks to hide the awful scars around their mouths from having boiling water poured down their throat for the slightest reason. She claimed that Hodge's cooks and servants were compelled to whistle while they worked so that they could not spit in the food this I found quite interesting. Rosie recalled how Pereen after informing a Mr. Martin of Prosper being buried with shackles on his feet secretly took martin to the spot to observe for himself when Hodge was absent. She continued that Martin subsequently boarded his vessel and sailed to Antigua to complain to the Commissioner of the Leward Islands. She gave the name of the Commissioner's vessel that he journeyed to Tortola on and an in depth account of the arrest and trial of Hodge. The conversation then entailed the transportation of hundreds of enslaved people out of Tortola and Virgin Gorda to many islands in the Caribbean including Trinidad Grenada St Vincent Antigua St.Kitts St Croix and others. She explained about salt being shipped from Salt Island to the US for use in winter on the roads. She talked about families that came out of Salt Island and Peter Island scattered throughout the territory from Anegada to Yost Van Dyke I was truly amazed. We spoke of Pre-Columbian inhabitants and areas where they have left monuments this was particularly interesting and should be taught in schools. This is just an abbreviated summary of a wealth of information that this lady has about these islands. I honestly believe that it should be recorded and this lady should be recognized for this treasure of information which goes back to prehistoric days giant footprints in stones carved faces on boulders and stuff that leaves you truly astonished. I truly believe that Rosie deserves to be recognized with an honorary degree for the vast range of knowledge about many facets of life and astonishing history of these islands.
