‘Masa’ in trouble with the law again!
The allegations are that Pemberton on August 5, 2015 assaulted Delvin Green. Green was also similarly charged but did not show up for court.
However, following the reading of the charges against Pemberton, his attorney at law with regards to another matter Valerie Stephens-Gordon said that she was advised that she and her client were appearing in court for another issue, which was for the charge of obscene publication for posting a video of an alleged sexual activity between a businessman and someone believed to be an underaged schoolgirl.
“We came here today for something different. We have not been served in relation to this matter. I know absolutely nothing about this. I came here in relation to the charge of obscene publication... the Facebook [video],” said Stephens-Gordon.
According to the details read in court, on August 5, 2015, a female said to be the domestic partner of Pemberton made an attempt to turn her vehicle around on a property belonging to Green and located at Great Mountain in Tortola.
The court heard that at the same time Green arrived at the property and was making an attempt to enter the property.
Upon arriving he saw the female and stopped at the entrance. He allegedly came out his vehicle and approached the female asking her to leave at which time a verbal altercation ensued.
During the altercation, the female also exited her vehicle and Green approached her and allegedly grabbed her by the throat. The court heard that he then allegedly pinned her to the vehicle. One of the passengers of the vehicle Green was in came to the aid of the female. She then got in her vehicle and left the area.
Following this, Pemberton allegedly went to confront Green over the incident and a fight reportedly ensued between the two men. A report was made at the Road Town Police Station and the female and Green reportedly sought and received medical treatment at Peebles Hospital.
The parties are to return to court on March 4, 2016.
Meanwhile, Magistrate Ayana Baptiste-DaBreo quipped that she and her parents would have had problems if she had been given the name Ramoamasagana, which she had to make several attempts to pronounce correctly.

I'm no fan of his, but what he allegedly did here is what most men would do to defend their lady's honour. Even if they don't go pound for pound the other man would be confronted.
