Man unhappy with vehicle paint job allegedly assaults spray painter

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A man, who was said to be unhappy with the paint job done on his vehicle, allegedly grabbed the collar of the spray painter and told him to get the job done properly before also grabbing the shirt collar of another man and demanded money to repair his vehicle.

According to reports reaching our newsroom, both incidents allegedly occurred on Friday, August 27, 2021.

In the first incident, the man reportedly became upset when he was told that he needed to pay more money if he wanted more paint work done on other areas of his vehicle.

The man, allegedly in a fit of rage, grabbed the spray painter by his collar and told him to fix his vehicle properly.

The spray painter’s shirt was allegedly torn in the process.

2nd incident

Our newsroom was further informed by sources close to the matter that the man then approached the person who had promised to repair his vehicle following an accident they were involved in.

The accused allegedly grabbed the other person by the collar and told him he wanted his money “today”.

Both matters were reported to police and, according to reports reaching our newsroom, the perpetrator was warned about Common Assault and Criminal Damage.

    You get the job you pay for ........ a good paint job is not cheap . So you well get what you pay for

      Seems the other guy didn't pay for the man vehicle to get fixed back properly anyone would get vex

      The man did not get what he paid for because he were not the one who initially paid for it, the man who were at fault gave the man a cheap azz job all while he were at fault, next time go to his insurance , these word of don’t cut it mehson

    @ Lady...sometimes you pay big money for a good job and they give you a cheap job. It goes both ways.

    That’s why when somebody hit my ride I go straight to their insurance to get my full refund and a piece of mind, making deals with the guilty party never works out, they will do a cheap job on your vehicle, I understand this man frustration, you hit my car and you wrong you better fix it back as new, I don’t care and no deal making, if it was the other way around I’ll take care of you,
