Man taken to hospital following lone vehicle accident @ Pasea

PASEA, Tortola, VI- A male driver of a pickup truck was taken to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital after his vehicle ran off the road at Pasea today, January 24, 2022.

The man was heading east when his vehicle crashed into a tree a short distance before the traffic lights.

The incident occurred around 4:30 pm.

The extent of injury the man received remains unclear to our newsroom.

    You guys is always talking about traffic in a mess, suppose you had to sit in traffic for 3 hours bumper to bumper. The last time I was in the US, I was stuck in traffic for over 3 hours on the RFK bridge trying to get to Queens from Manhattan due to a tractor trailer accident. Missed my flight back to St.Thomas and had to stay in a Hotel at the airport until the next day. What could I do but exercise patience. Sometimes you just have to have patience.

    I was right next to that truck after it hit up (wasn't there when it hit up) and when i drove up next to the truck the man was outside the truck walking around it to see what all mash up, talking to people who was in vehicles.....he was taken to the hospital to do what exactly.....oh wow. he dramatic!
