Is that not required by law?
Tough break for those drivers who now have to deal with insurances, auto body shops, windshield order delays, rental cars etc.
If it is true that this young man is mentally ill well he is in need of a mental evaluation and if mentally unfit I hope he can get the help he needs and not be sent to prison which will only exacerbate his condition.
We have neglected mental health for so long that we are seeing more and more the manifestation of its neglect. We need a proper mental health facility and outpatient facility, more mental health counselors, Psychiatrists and trained personnel. We need to have a multi-focussed approach health awareness that includes mental health. I believe we will see more of this as the pandemic with its various draconian measures, scaremongering and travel restrictions have left a lot of people mentally on edge. Instead of focussing solely on vaccines that half the people don't want let us refocus on physical and mental health.
The guy looks proud of his work.
