Man found dead in Josiah’s Bay apartment
Reliable sources have since confirmed that the man is Mario Matthew, who was considered “a person of interest” by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).
Virgin Islands News Online was also informed that the man did not seem dead for more than 48 hours.
It is not clear if foul play is suspected at this time.
Meanwhile, Police Information Officer Diane Drayton just confirmed the discovery of the body. "Police are confirming the sudden death of a male who resides in the Josiah's Bay area. Cause of death is unknown. The Coroner's Office has been informed. No further information can be released at this time," Ms Drayton stated via a press release.
Matthew has had issues with the law and was out on bail.
