Man found dead in derelict vehicle identified as Courtney Fahie
According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) in a press release today, January 13, 2025, no signs of violence or suspicious markings were observed on the body.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the discovery remain ongoing.
The RVIP said its officers had responded to a report of an unresponsive male in a derelict vehicle in the Long Swamp area after 11: 00 pm on January 8, 2025.

Upon arrival at the location, officers discovered a male individual inside a green, derelict RAV4 SUV, dressed in a blue plaid shirt and short blue jeans pants and showed no signs of life. He was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased had no fixed place of abode, according to the RVIPF.

The RVIPF has extended condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
