Major fire averted @ Big Brother’s Gas Station
According to information reaching our newsroom, smoke was seen coming from a building at Big Brother's Gas Station at Baugher's Bay, Tortola, sometime around 7:00am.
Upon arrival, firefighters quickly went into action and promptly extinguished the blaze before it could have gotten got out of control.
The extent of the damages to the interior of the building is not yet known.
Chief Fire Officer, Mr Zebalon A. McLean confirmed the incident of the fire to Virgin Islands News Online, adding that fire officers are still on the scene.
