Magistrate’s Court closed after staff tests positive for COVID-19
This is according to a bulletin from Government Information Services (GIS) today, June 30, 2021.
“The public is advised that the Magistrate’s Court on Tortola is closed to the public from today June 30 until further notice.
“The reason for closure is that one member of staff has tested positive for COVID-19 and in accordance with Public Health procedures, unvaccinated and partially vaccinated members of staff are being required to isolate for 10-14 days followed by the appropriate testing,” the bulletin stated.
Some matters to be heard remotely
It noted; however, where practicable, some matters will be heard remotely and the parties involved will be advised accordingly.
For urgent matters, persons have been told to call 468-9595 or 468-9327.

So this idea of the vaccine as a means by which people can freely travel is non-sense if it doesn't stop the spread. Test people and let us get back to some form of normal life, but the limit travel/quarantine doesn't make sense.
