Love felt at Shine-I Album Debut Explosion
Whether persons wanted to shake a leg or not, the love vibe was definitely felt throughout the event as each artiste sought to share it in their choice of songs.
The feature act was of course Jah Vinci of Jamaica who put on the perfect act to bring the curtain down on the show, which was held to celebrate the launch of Shine-I’s debut album “The Foundation”.
Shine-I, born Darius Semper, released his first album ‘The Foundation’ on Thursday January 12, 2012. The album consists of 14 tracks and includes popular songs such as ‘I Got it Bad’, ‘I Know’ and ‘Bright N Morning Star’. “This event will endorse the album and local talent. I believe it is a positive way to endorse music into society and celebrate the calibre of talent that we as artistes hold. This is our Jah given talent and it comes natural for us like daily routines and we want to celebrate that,” Shine-I had told Virgin Islands News Online.
Other performers last evening were Empress Ruth; Maccabee, whose songs included My Empress and Watch Your Friends; Rittical with Love is the Greatest and I Wish u the Best among others; Madda Nile, whose songs included Mama Strong and Dream Big; and Infamus.
Infamus, who was born in Virgin Gorda, but lives in St. Kitts hyped the crowd with his songs Sometimes I feel like Crying and 21 Gun Salute.
