Local tabloid BVINews.com wiped clean of news content
Visitors to the website up to 15:30hrs today were greeted with a feature caption saying “there are no featured posts to be shown in the slider. Start marking posts as featured, or disable the slider from Theme Options.”
Sources have told our newsroom that the website was completely down this morning, however, the wordpress theme of the site was reportedly restored sometime today.
Website hacked?
The website management is yet to release a statement on the reason for the downtime or whether the site was hacked, however, efforts by our news center to contact the publication’s owner Julia Donavan proved futile.
Over the years, BVINews.com has been slammed on several instances for false and unverified reporting, in addition to being threatened with legal action over alleged libel.
Our News Centre will bring more details as it becomes available.

Not only they are ra***t, but they hate the BVI and its people. They block most, if not all positive comments about anything good in the BVI, its people and or leaders whether political or otherwise. They are media hitman for the ra***t dictatorship agenda.
