REPORT: Labour Department accused of bias & lack of response!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – In a report addressing a complaint against the Labour Department which was submitted over a year ago, Complaints Commissioner Elton Georges has stated that the system clearly is not working within Government to cause pressure to be brought on an offending Ministry or Department to address wrongs that are identified.

J Alvin Christopher, in addressing the matter of a previous sitting in the House of Assembly earlier today September 3, 2012, stated that the sitting of the House of Assembly that occurred on July 26, 2012 was illegal; he added that the House was supposed to be in prorogue and the minutes should go on record as if they never happened.

Airport Impact study should have been done earlier - Maduro
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Outspoken Talk Show host, Edmund Maduro, feels that the environmental impact assessment study conducted for the airport extension project should have been done much earlier.

WEST END, Tortola, VI – Now that tropical storm Isaac has come, seen and did not conquer, persons around the island are grateful that much damage has not been caused to the infrastructure in place. None may be more grateful however, than residents of West End, in the south western area of Tortola.
