Local football coaches benefit from CONCACAF Train the Trainer's Workshop

EAST END, Tortola, VI- The BVI Football Association (BVIFA) hosted an “impactful” Train the Trainer’s Workshop from January 24 -26, 2025, in collaboration with CONCACAF.

The workshop was aimed at empowering coaches and driving the development of football in the Virgin Islands.

This dynamic workshop, according to BVIFA, brought together top football professionals to equip local trainers with advanced coaching techniques, leadership skills, and strategies for nurturing talent at every level.

‘Modern training methodologies’

“Participants gained valuable insights into modern training methodologies, ensuring that they’re ready to inspire the next generation of players and elevate the sport within the region,” BVIFA stated in a Facebook post on January 27, 2025.

BVIFA said it remains committed to investing in its coaches and building a stronger footballing community and extended “special thanks” to CONCACAF for its continued support in fostering the growth of football in the VI.
