LIME BVI treats VG moms to roses & breakfast!
Travelling to the island early this morning to show their love and appreciation for all mothers ahead of Mother’s Day on Sunday May 10, 2015 were top officials of LIME BVI including General Manager, Sean L. Auguste; Head of Business Sales, Ken Guiste; Marketing Manager and Head of Corporate Communications, Kareem-Nelson Hull; Manager of Service Organisation, Allen Smith, Business Support Officer, Sheann Maduro and Marketing Assistant, Roger Frank.
According to Hull, the initiative was called 'Mothers in the Morning'. "We know that these mothers get up early in the mornings, every day, they probably cooking breakfast every day, so we decided why not give them the most important meal of the day."
Along with breakfast were specially selected white fresh cut roses for the first 100 mothers who went into the store for breakfast. "Each of the roses had a different tag. Some read ‘you are a special mom’, there were ones that said ‘Mom upside down Wow’ and the others said ‘It's for you and you deserve it’," explained Hull.
Mothers on Tortola recognised too
Mr Hull noted that mothers on Tortola were also given a treat at its flagship store on Waterfront Drive this morning but without the breakfast. "Virgin Gorda is the only branch that had breakfast and that's because we are engaging Virgin Gorda more this year so there are going to be special things from LIME just for Virgin Gorda. Tortola people shouldn't get upset about it, don't get jealous because we have a lot of things in Tortola but Virgin Gorda is an important market for us so we want to come over and spread some love here today."
The love spread had sentimental meaning for the General Manager Auguste whose mother passed on some years ago. Mr Auguste said he has a deep appreciation and love for mothers and gets some satisfaction by doing special things for other mothers.
Walking into an extra special treat was Registered Nurse/Midwife, Mrs Patsy E. Mathurin who received the last rose and was given a brand new smart phone, a big hug and wishes for a Happy Mother's Day.
