LIME 4 LIME Launched as LIME joins fight against Cancer
The partnership also marks the official launch of ‘LIME 4 LIFE’, the local initiative to support health-related causes.
“I wanted our company to focus our sponsorships on health, education and sporting initiatives and when you consider the widespread impact that a disease like cancer has had on the world and the BVI, we are happy to be able to lend our resources to the awareness of this cause,” said Managing Director Sean Auguste.
In response to the mandate LIME is ‘pinking up the place’ with the placement of its first billboard completely devoted to a philanthropic cause at the roundabout in Road Town, Tortola. LIME workers have also been issued pink shirts that bear the ‘LIME 4 LIFE’ branding- the official campaign for LIME BVI’s health-centered initiatives. The shirts are being worn as part of the BVI Cancer Society’s ‘Paint the Town Pink’ day on Friday October 25, 2013.
As a part of the partnership LIME is also welcoming persons to its flagship store in Road Town for free and private breast examinations from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. today, Friday October 25.
LIME will also partner with the BVI Cancer Society for the Walk/Run for the Cure on Saturday October 26.
LIME has provided a ‘LIME 4 LIFE’ t-shirt for each person who has registered for the walk/run and will also welcome all persons at the finish line at the Noel Lloyd/ Positive Action Movement Park with gifts.
LIME 4 LIFE is LIME BVI’s official campaign to aid health-related issues.
