LIAT Flight Attendant held with cocaine in Barbados
BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Regional airline LIAT on Wednesday said one of its employees was assisting the police in Barbados with their investigation into a drug-related matter.
LIAT said the employee in question was taken into custody on Tuesday shortly after arrival at the Grantley Adams International Airport on a flight from St. Lucia.
“The management of LIAT wishes to indicate its full support for, and cooperation with, law enforcement authorities in relation to any investigations where its cooperation is required,” the airline said in a brief statement.
