BVI is really a drug haven we need to have a stronger U.S present and a policy in place failure to stop shot to dismantle vessel governor needs to give the green light for both parties US and BVI authorities.

Agreed somewhat bvi law enforcement need to be enhanced and laws need to be amended to allow the law enforcement agencies locally to execute their duties properly. Send a strong message. You feel safe police arent respected by many. As simple as it may look you werent giving trouble at home if you fear your parents right
, same rule should apply now if they fear the consequences then crime would be under control.

I did not see a single British police taking cover with us last night and firing back last night. I did not see a single British police when we found the guns and did the dangerous work, not a single one was present. Check any of the rum shops in town, west, Nanny Cay or CGB and you will find most of them liming. I know what I am talking about. They are a complete waste of time, but people like you buy into their pretty talk and BS.

You know what you are talking about? You clearly know nothing? Other than the Commissioner, the Assistant Commissioner, and the COI team, there are only 2 British officers working for the RVIPF and neither of them are qualified to carry firearms. Try speaking to one of them, they could teach you a lot.

Before we call in the UK or call in the USA we need to realize those countries were made by willful destruction of native peoples, and made profitable by our ancestors slave labour all the while stiffling black people.

Remember desecration I mean de-segregation, separating black people & white people, in the USA ended in 1964.

Furthermore the UK & USA are two of the few anglo-saxon nations still engaged in neo-colonialism.

We need stronger police but we need OUR police not theirs. The many innocents especially people of color like George Floyd, knee on neck, all of that is a part of their continuation of racial persecutuion. In simple terms they dont like blacks and will never allow us to rise up to our full potential.

Calling in their authority is like putting the chains back on but with padding on the cuffs to make us feel better. Behind the excuse of solving serious crime -which we all want solved- behind that lies the real occupation. The war on drugs is an excuse to militarize police & nullify individual rights & privacy. Besides, they don't really care what we put in our body or they'd be testing the street drugs regularly & issuing public health announcements.

wiped out the Arawak's & Caribs, native americans are 3rd class in their own nation.

Nice try, Wiggie! You and your ilk are repressing your black brothers from "down island" while you still pander up to the Caucasians. What is this? Colonization in reverse? Reminds me of the slaves back in the day, who purchased their freedom from their white masters and turned around and bought and owned slaves themselves. Stop the hypocrisy!!! We are fed-up of your rhetoric, pushing your tired agenda.

This is overbearing now, not sure of the details, but the last chase was drugs related. Is this lifestyle really worth it? As far as I can see, we are losing too much of our love ones senselessly (to this lifestyle) to much of our brilliant young men are being taken away from us prematurely. This is not just affecting us as a small community, it is negatively affecting their families, their love ones ect. Children are becoming parent less because of it .. tell me HOW can it be worth it?

Its a sad state you are in if this wiggy is living in your mind to the point you see every pro-Caribbean, truthful accounting of history, comment as the big bad wiggy.

Take a trip to a slave trade museum or something refresh your mind to what humans did & understand the struggle to freedom is not over. We do not make weapons here so who is really to blame. The guns spewing out of America & those they send to war that cycle back into our & the international community is the biggest threat & catalyst to empower crime, much more than some powder drug we arent even interested in consuming as a culture.

So why dont they arrest themselves for allowing this to happen? Why dont they set up the gun sellers and gun smugglers like they did to Andrew Fahie?

If the guns were coming from africa you can be sure they would do something.

We have unelected governor over us like the old times. Sorry Guv you might be a cool guy that role is a remnant of colonialism. The UK has always been responsible for security so why do we demonize our own that this territory is constantly in the news. They need to stop it though Id wager the other folk have weapons and smuggle drugs and not always in the news. In fact it seems they are never caught up.

Speaking of what is occupying one's mind, the slave trade was abolished over 200 years ago. These guys are engaged in illegal acts for profit, pure and simple. Among those illegal acts is people smuggling. Stop blaming others for problems in the BVI.
