Krazy Hype falsely reports Miss BVI Adorya R. Baly removed from Miss Universe Pageant!
Is Miss BVI Out?
The entertainment site in an article published on its online edition yesterday, Friday December 11, 2015, claimed that “Originally, 81 beauties were set to compete, but Miss Slovenia suffered a nasty accident which left her competition dreams in tatters and Miss British Virgin Islands was removed from the list for unknown reasons.”
The article, which our newsroom researched and found to be misleading and downright inaccurate, went on to claim that “Earlier today a popular BVI news medium posted that Baly is continuing her journey to the pageant, however, sources within the Miss Universe organization and blogs throughout the internet stated that she was removed, while some stated that she left the competition.”
Miss BVI is in!
Our newsroom can confirm that the article posted by the entertainment online site Krazy Hype is outright false and perhaps slander.
In a ‘tweet’ from the Miss Universe 2015 committee, it stated that Miss BVI is not withdrawing from the Miss Universe Pageant. The ‘tweet’ went on to explain that “yesterday when the official evening gown and glamshots were uploaded to the Miss Universe website, there was an error which caused the girls’ profiles to be uploaded twice. In the process of deleting the extra profile for each of the contestant, both of Adorya’s profiles must’ve accidentally been deleted which caused the confusion. She is still in Las Vegas ready to compete for the next #Miss Universe title.”
The statement further stated “If you check the miss universe website right now her profile will be there.” Virgin Islands News Online confirmed this to be true.
Adorya R. Baly speaks on social network
There has been no word from the local Miss BVI Committee on the controversy, as Chairwoman Alicia Hamm and the VI Festival and Fairs Committee Public Relations Officer Lynette L. Harrigan could not be reached up to press time. However, on the official Miss BVI Facebook page 2015/16, moments ago Miss BVI Adorya R. Baly confirmed that she is still in the show. She said on Facebook: “Hi all, have no fear I am still here getting ready for the big show. Steve Harvey is hosting and I am so excited. Focus, focus focus.”
Krazy Hype always under fire & writer in trouble with the law
The young man behind the site Ramoamasagana ‘Masa’ Pemberton raised heads when he referred to the Premier Dr The Honourable D. Orlando Smith as the ‘mumu of the day’ for pulling out of a meeting with National Health Insurance activists. He also ended up in court recently for the charges of alleged criminal trespass and common assault to which he pleaded not guilty.
Mr Pemberton was also accused of posting on Facebook a sexually explicit video, which shows a female performing a sexual act on a man at a business place on the eastern end of the main island of Tortola. He was charged for Obscene Publication.

I just watched Mr. Pemberton so called response to VINO. I almost spit out my bush tea. I am now convinced the man is a sick puppy.
What positive things this id**t has done for the youths? Is disrespecting adults and children positive? Is posting sexually explicit videos of underage girls positive?
Is on the radio calling people Mumu positive?
Is up and down taking photos of young people and adults who get into an accident positive? I am yet to see or hear about one positive thing this man has done!
Is interviewing local music artistes and in the interview calling them down and insulting them to get a joke out of it positive?
Anybody who is a crazy and write and post s**t will get someone pressing the LIKE bottom. Masa the reality is you are a tug and all NEGATIVE and have not contributed anything to society.
People continue to tell you this over and over again that is why people are running far far from you left right and center. Stop Fooling yourself. I am disappointed that Virgin Islands News a with professional journalists giving you so much coverage!!!! they need to stop.
Check your self-Mr. Pemberton before you further self-distrust.
Besides, if her committee was keeping the BVI people in the loop, this confusion wouldn't have happened.
