K&J 3X3 2019 BBall games off to exciting start

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The annual K&J 3X3 Basketball tournament which started this morning, Saturday, March 30, 2019, and will run until tomorrow Sunday, March 31, at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex in Road Town, Tortola, is already off to an exciting start according to tournament organisers.

The 3X3 games, founded by two veteran VI basketball players, Kennedy H. Bass and Jason A. Edwin is known to attract the best of the best basketball talent from across the territory as they compete to show their ‘balling skills’ and win exciting prizes like cash, gaming systems, electronics and several more items up for grabs.

Fun-Filled Event

Tournament organiser, Mr Bass in an invited comment today told Virgin Islands News Online (VINO), “We’re currently here right now, the event has started, the 13-15 game is going on right now as I speak to you [so] we can expect a fun-filled event when it comes to the 3X3 action.”

He further told our news centre, that more action is expected to come in the U13, U15, U18 and even the ‘open’ games with a special tournament for 40+ age group players looking to show their skills.
