Keithroy Smith charged for burglary committed @ villa on VG

VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- A 21-year-old male was charged with burglary at a villa on Virgin Gorda.

According to a press release from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) today, June 21, 2024, officers of the Virgin Gorda Police Station responded to a burglary report at a villa in Virgin Gorda on the night of June 18, 2024, after 9:00 PM.

"Due to the swift response by our officers, a suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident, the RVIPF stated, adding that Keithroy Smith of Windy Hill, Virgin Gorda has been charged with Burglary.

The RVIPF said Smith remains in custody pending his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court.

Police said some of the stolen items have been recovered, and efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining property.

      Do you mean the one foot guy with the green trucks because he been involved in all kind of mess for years and his younger brother even got caught with kilos of cocaine in a boat on one of those islands and that case just went away

    I am very disturbed by the behavior of the young people in the Territory. However, instead of criticizing them why don't we try to be mentors for them. It is time for the Department of youth affairs and Sports to convene a social gathering of ALL the youths and address them on social behavior. We need to advise them on social skills as well as showing them the various opportunities that they could be involved in rather than criticizing them. The young man in question needs help to provide for himself.
