Warrias pip Winning Mentality

The youngsters who have yet to live up to their name were led by 20 points and 15 rebounds from Rudy Vanterpool, 15 points and 8 rebounds from Tafari Winchester and 11 rebounds each from Kahleel Cave and Vaughn Bassue.
Momentum scrape past We Dem Boys
On Sunday, August 28, 2016, as a prelude to the third successive win by Bayside Blazers, Momentum had just enough propulsion to hang on for a 69-68 win over We Dem Boys.
In truth We Dem Boys should have won the game. Late in the 4th quarter they contrived to not only miss twice from down town, but also failed to convert numerous other scoring opportunities and then made two possible possessions just one.
Adding insult to those self-inflicted wounds was that they scored at the buzzer to be one point short of at least going into overtime.
Momentum, missing their big man, Shamarr George, got match winning returns from Louie A. Poblete, who combined 21 points with 8 rebounds and 13 points with 10 rebounds from Lyndon Chiverton. William Bridgewater grabbed 11 rebounds, whilst for We Dem Boys, Riquan Fahie scored 20 points with 9 rebounds, Alwood Forbes 14 with 11 rebounds, Lenroy Grant 11 points, Akeno Gumbs 10 and Hakeem Penn grabbed 11 rebounds.
