Katrina Lindsay 5th in age group of World Masters Athletics Indoor 10K

ALACHUA COUNTY, Florida, USA – Reigning female road runner in the Virgin Islands, Katrina Lindsay put in an incredible performance in the 10K at the World Masters Athletics Indoor Championships in Florida, USA on March 29, 2025.

Katrina completed the 10K with a time of 39:27.46, securing a Top 20 finish, placing 16th overall of 105 competitors.

Her time also placed her 5th in her age bracket and set a new personal best record.

“This has been an amazing showing of BVI talent and dedicated athleticism from our mature athletes. We couldn't be more proud. This has been an incredible run for Katrina,” the BVI Athletics Association (BVIAA) stated.

This is the first time the Virgin Islands is represented at the World Masters Indoor.

In a historic moment for team Virgin Islands (VI), Courtny Bascombe finished 6th in the finals of the 60M on March 25, 2025.
