Kathlyn Archibald-Drew is new Miss BVI 2021
Miss Archibald-Drew also took away the Miss Intellect accolade as part of a prize awarded at the pageant.
Hours before taking the crown, the VI beauty said her Miss BVI journey “has been one of growth in so many aspects of my life. There have been challenges indeed but they were worth it.”
She continued, “I have more appreciation for the hard work that it takes mentally, physically, and emotionally to be an ambassador, but I’m ready,” she said.
Meanwhile, coming in as first runner-up was contestant number three, Jareena Penn who copped the Most Popular, Most Poised, Best Introduction, Best Swimwear, Best BVI Promotion, and Best Evening Wear accolades.
Sylvanna Charles was the second runner up and other contestants included Reba Smith who was awarded Best Cultural Wear, Chenae Walters awarded Miss Congeniality and Keyona Cameron who received the Most Photogenic award.

It is obvious that the categories needed a balance in points.
Not only that the prizes needs to be balanced also. It takes a lot of money to put your best foot forward even with sponsorship.
It's no way the queen gets 0ver 50,000 value and runner's up get so little. Prizes need to be more attractive and balanced.
One observation and fault on committee. You mean to tell me you didnt have a sash for contestant number one that looked so bad. For months you all knew all the categories and still fowl up in the end. Shameful
