Julio S. Henry aka ‘Sam’ has passed
Unconfirmed information is that Mr Henry suffered a heart attack while on vacation in Barbados.
A close family member of Mr Henry has confirmed his passing with our news centre.
Mr Henry, a well-known taxi driver, was a strong supporter of the Virgin Islands Party (VIP) and even chaired one of its rallies during the 2023 campaign season.
Mr Henry also served as Chairman of the BVI Scholarship Committee.
He was a regular voice on the International Morning Braff Show on Tola Radio VI.
Mr Henry was against Direct Rule
The social and political commentator, Mr Henry, was one of the persons on the forefront resisting a United Kingdom (UK) takeover following the release of the Commission of Inquiry (CoI) Report back in May 2022.
He had called on the people of the VI to stand with a singular voice and reject any attempt by the United Kingdom (UK) Government to suspend the constitution of the territory and impose direct rule.

He stayed with my close relative for free they took him every where and he had a nice time
He offered Money but they declined it
He said he thought he was in heaven only ladies in the house and cooked nice meals
That man never disrespected anyone in any way and was welcomed again anytime
What a beautiful soul my entire family loved and respected him

On another note we all know life is short. As such I say live it to your fullest even if you become a passionate advocate of your beliefs in life as Sam did.

My cholesterol was high
I over dosed two weeks on it and took my test again to see it went from 245 to 215
