The playground was handed over to the school on April 26, 2024, following a brief ceremony addressed by Minister for Education, Youth Affairs and Sports Honourable Sharie B. de Castro (AL), Executive Director of Unite BVI Dr L. Sauda Smith and Representative for the Sixth District Honourable Myron V. Walwyn.
The first school to receive a brand-new playground through the MoU is Willard Wheatley Primary School in East End.
Schools to also benefit include Alexandrina Maduro Primary School and Ebenezer Thomas Primary School.
