ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Following several weeks of intensive investigation into reports of burglary, theft, and other offences committed at both commercial and residential properties, Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) detectives have made a series of criminal charges against two males.

The males, Kie-Andre Williams, 21, of McNamara and Jehkhalibbah Williams, 19, of Free Bottom have been jointly charged with a series of offences, ranging from Burglary to Criminal Trespass in relation to separate incidents that occurred during April and May 2024.

The RVIPF in a press release today, June 11, 2024, said police conducted several search operations at premises occupied by both men and recovered various items believed to have been stolen from residences and businesses in the Territory.

Missing utility vehicle recovered

A missing sport utility vehicle was among the properties recovered by the police.

The RVIPF said detectives expect to place additional charges on the men in the coming days.

Both men have been denied police bail and remain in custody pending the next court date.

"The multi-pronged investigation remains dynamic. This public will receive further updates in tandem with any significant developments.

"Anyone with any information about any burglary is urged to contact the Crime Stoppers line at 800-8477 (TIPS) or, if overseas, at 1-284-800-8477. Alternatively, you can reach the RVIPF Intelligence Unit at 368-9339. No matter how seemingly insignificant, every piece of information could help advance the ongoing investigation. All information will be kept confidential," the RVIPF stated in the press release.

Sometimes I read your posts and I have come to the conclusion that you are a very jaded individual, (not trying to be judgmental) and I feel a sense of empathy for you.

Remember Psalms 42: 5 - Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; For I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

@Maria Louise Varlack. It is sad that this is happening to a very peaceful place. It was peaceful when my parents were growing up. Things have changed, but not just here - all over. You need to find something constructive to do with your time if you have nothing positive to contribute. If you can’t contribute something positive or offer some solutions, just read the news stories and MOVE ON!!!!!

You claim to be a Virgin Islander, yet you're always talking about "you people"; you say you're homeless, yet you say this is "not a worthy place to live". Rather than always criticising from a distance, do you have anything at all to contribute to make this a better place?

Are those real names? No wonder they turned to criminality. No one will hire them with those names, becausr it will take too long to learn how to spell them

You are wrong. The British Virgin Islands had destroyed themselves and THEN that allowed passage for the cartels to come in and its not just drug cartels, its the corporate and expat cartels as well.

Maria Louisa Varlack is really who? They appear to be a plant of some sort sent to troll persons living here. I imagine they could be the ex-governor, or one of the mika barry people. It is all my speculation but I suspect that they are not who they are pretending to be.

The one who is a resident of McNamara was living in a former leader’s home. Shame on his daughter for housing a criminal.

the first injustice to the young man with the long name is probably his struggle to learn to spell that giberish evry day. Hope it means something positive. The parents have their share because is a struggle just to carry this name with all the letters in the alphabet.

    Hope they get help

Yep a lot of influencers. All we want is to be in peace & live with common sense.

But common sense is over ruled by the politically correct yet factually incorrect. Similar to when they were beating our ancestors as subhuman slaves. wow. Boggles the mind considering we continue that behavior, which is fuel to the influencers & the disheartened.

We need a full 180 back to what is right. When Jesus was to be set up as a criminal, or in those times a devil..... accused of healing on the sabbath & asked indirectly what is the highest law to trick him with words, he said Love.

Love god & love each other, let every other action stem from this. Thus healing on the day of rest was explained to the logical. We humans do the worst when we lose track of that thread.

Common sense & human decency. Now if Andrew Fahie had said "Cant we traffic something that might help people? Seems cocaine will only be turned to crack & bring suffering, thats not BVI love. How about that ayahuasca shhh that heals something exotic." He wouldnt have been set up as a devil.

Who the hell steals a vehicle on Tortola. They dont love themselves & this is the result.

Stealing cars, robbing business for $250, going for the safe and end up empty handed. With this pattern I am guessing they didnt even know who had the code and planned to wing it.

The bible talks about this too, stealing food water or shelter to survive & save your life is one example which is far removed from piling up other people's junk.

What else did it say... Pay back seven fold if caught? The bible isnt inherently good, without love it is also used for evil. This is sad how can you be a career criminal after being caught already, destroying any other career. Those two need therapy for their choices.

A lot of people sell weed because it is better to sell what a customer wants no victim happy customer, than rob & the same hustlers are on the street for years unlike the thieves.

Furthermore there is need for facilities such as a good soup kitchen/meal charity and more access to social development funds for struggling persons, why rob $250 when you can get it for free. Without love for each other, and a nobody cares about you & your problems attitude... we cause our own demise truly.

All that said you have a right to love yourself and knock down home intruders to protect yourself & family.
