CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI- Sex offender Jeffrey E. Epstein paid school tuition for the children of then-governor of the US Virgin Islands John P. de Jongh Jr, whose wife made efforts to secure student visas and a work license for young women connected to Epstein, according to an updated court filing Thursday, May 25, 2023, by JPMorgan Chase.

Those tuition payments, whose duration and amounts were not revealed, allowed then-Governor de Jongh Jr. “to funnel additional money to his political campaigns,” JPMorgan said in the filing in US District Court in Manhattan.

Epstein also “offered to fund Governor de Jongh’s defense in the Governor’s criminal case,” where the then-governor was charged in 2015 in connection with the use of public funds to make security improvements at his private residence, according to the filing. Those charges were dropped in early 2016 by the Virgin Islands Department of Justice.

JPMorgan alleges Epstein’s generosity was part of his broader effort to build sway on the islands.

JP Morgan claims innocence

The filing is part of the bank’s defense of a civil lawsuit by the USVI alleging JPMorgan facilitated Epstein’s sex trafficking of young women.

JPMorgan denies wrongdoing in the case.

JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon is due to be deposed Friday, May 26, 2023, for the Virgin Islands’ lawsuit, as well as for a similar one filed against the bank by an accuser of Epstein.

Epstein, a registered sex offender, allegedly abused women and girls on a private island he owned within the territory, and bought a second island nearby to keep people from spying on him.

JPMorgan said Epstein had “close ties” to the territory’s last three governors, including incumbent Albert A. Bryan Jr.

According to the filing, Epstein also backed Congresswoman Stacey E. Plaskett, the territory’s delegate to the US Congress, who once worked for an agency that awarded his tax benefits.

Epstein, 66, died in a Manhattan jail in August 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking.

New York City’s medical examiner called his death a suicide.

@ todo el mundo. If they were JUST CROOKS that would be on them. The Horrible part of the entire clan was the biggest, sickest foul, lowdown scum of the earth that are PEDOPHILES, abusing children and allowed to get away with it for money. I hope the entire group that visited that island for their sick demented pleasures all BURN IN ETERNAL HELL FIRE!!! I cannot stress enough how much they should all suffer. These sickos came from around the world to do this and the governments knew this. Ex-Governor John de Jongh Jr. and his wife should also be placed under a prison. His grin in the picture looks like Lucifer himself. I hope all of the BASTARDS involved in this get called out and imprisoned, but they won't because the wealthy never get caught. We need the mighty hand of GOD to strike them down.

The love of money is the root of every thing evil. Benefit from dirty money is not a benefit. Is a curse. When you see things happening to people and they children, its because of these hidden evil altars fueling the enemy. The children who benefitted are innocent and they did not do anything wrong, but the source of their education and prosperity will backfire at some point or other. If not to them, then their generations to follow. So don't envy nothing that you see people have.

Epstein had all the money, all that money could buy, all the politicians, all the women (whether by will or by force), all the land and lifestyle and still dead like a dog. It never does last forever.
