James Zolfi is VI's New Year's Day baby!

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The [British] Virgin Islands first baby of 2022 arrived on New Year’s morning, January 1.

James Zolfi was born at 10:42 am, according to a representative of the BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA).

Zolfi is the son of Maria Sirozhenko and Ahmad Zolfi.

The territory's New Year's baby was delivered at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital and weighed eight pounds, six ounces.

As part of the BVI Health Services Authority’s longstanding tradition, Sirozhenko was presented with a welcome/birthday gift for the special New Year’s baby.

    Awesome hopefully you don’t inject the baby with any substance and allow the child to grow naturally. You’ll see how amazingly strong and healthy it will become. Just my take

    congrats to the parents and May he grow up to be a blessing to his parents. it will be remiss to point Zolfi born here!! meanwhile the new Penn, Smith, Rymer, Stoutt and Fahie are not. and no country allows or should allow its head of state to be born elsewhere.
