Connections certainly can help but at the same time someone from down Island with no special last name but a good attitude does get hired.

Majority of the youths are rude. I think that is why employers don't want to hire them.

Man only 21 life bearly started

It's not too much of a fact that young people need jobs but it's also a fact the the young generation actually enjoy the gang lifestyle

They probably have job opportunities but they prefer living the life of a gang member and committing serious or petty crimes.

Look at some of the local t shirts or brands your young men are wearing. Look at the owners and those who push it. Look at the local advertisement videos for some locals brands that or mostly worn by the young people. Those brands advertise their products with fast boats, big chain, doing stunts on bikes, some even put their brand clothes in duffle bag dropping it off like it's drugs in it. They hand the bag to car or throw it on a fast boat with their brand clothes inside but it comes as if their indicating something else..

Anyways the young generation seems to really like using firearms and violence just for the kick of it. Not because they broke or hungry. Some even come from pretty good households that have money but still on streets causing mayhem...

the young women mostly seek to better themselves but some of the men into some serious dumb Fu(&

Yes some of the young women do better themselves

But those same young women with degrees and books smarts are actually entertaining these type of lowlife young men.

I was appealed to see a certain young female was caught and arrested with two young criminals who had weed and ammunition in their car a few months back.

That same female is doing very well in school but seems to follow the street life after hours...

She was released after the young men took ownership of the illegal items but it shows the kind of company she keeps

And these are the same people that might end up on sensitive jobs that can give out people information to criminals like DMV immigration, customs, police, civil registry etc

Employment need to go back to checking the social media of who they are about to employ or who they have alrdy employed.

These same women that are dressed nicely in office wear are actually out partying with some very suspect criminals
Them partying, drinking, smoking, on the back of a scooter, on a fast boat, half naked etc check these people social media

Not saying anything is wrong with partying but the company that you keep says a lot about you and what you endorse

Very shameful they have no self respect.

Who are the sperm donors for some of these young people, young men on our streets? Sperm donors, Fathers, Dads, Daddies, Uncles, Step Dads! Stand up and claim these young men and catch them before it's too late. Save this country from itself. The Fillipinos are everywhere and they are not being considered for jobs. Yes. Some are applying and most feel they shouldn't have to beg in a country where they grew up. Labour permits for stacking shelves etc. RIght there in the USVI we saw this happen. Wake up. Do something or keep your zippers zipped.

I say two strikes you are out. Give him a chance, get him some sociological help , he does not know how society operates, he is inputting his part in a negative manner. We need more schools and less Gail house. If there is a third strike, then the magistrate will figure it out .
